  Didn't lantastic have a windows version?  I'm sure they would have before
3.11 networking started becoming mainstream and killing everything else on
the
market.

  A quick google search reveals lantastic v8 can link win NT/2000/2003
machines, no idea if the networking protocols are the same as the earlier
versions.  I think latastic v7 can do win95, (possibly higher)

  I only have lantastic v6.0 here. It only claims dos requirements, and
claims
it works with windows, but does not mention what version (I'm thinking v3.x)


Lantastic 5 worked in Dos & Windows3.11.  I can't remember if it worked with
win95 but the main problem was Long Filenames which I think V7 supported
There is a trial version available of their latest offering...
