   Now that you mention it, maybe I should.

   After having served our community for three decades now, and only getting
insults and never any gratitude for my efforts, I'm inclined to join Michiel
van der Vlist in downsizing...

   After my wife died some three years ago, after almost half a century
together, fidonet was the only thing remaining that kept me going. But now I no
longer recognise the fidonet that I once loved so much.

   If I didn't still have some trusted fido friends supporting me in my
sorrows, I probably would have pulled the plug long ago...
