Just as the weather on the TV will be different from one chanel to
another , so is the VHF weather. Also the stations give the weather
for different areas. I am not familiar as to where those stations are
in relation to each other, but it could be like it is near where I live.
I am about 30 miles from one station and about 40 from another. The one
that is 30 miles away is not the one that gives the weather for me. I
am out of their regon, but in the area covered by the one 40 miles away.
That 30% of rain only means that in the area covered by their area
30% of the area will get rain. That is what the local weather man
said at a talk he was giving at a local ham radio club meeting.
