Greetings and felicitations:
The Winter, 1996, edition of Computer Science Update is now available on
NFB-NET, the electronic bulletin board system of the National Federation of
the Blind. The name of the file to
download is CS96WINT.TXT. The format is plain ASCII text. Plans are under
way to make the newsletter available via other
electronic distribution systems.
At this point, the NFB in Computer Science will be discontinuing the
distribution of cassette editions of the newsletter. A general mailing to
our members will be going out to that effect. The print edition will still be
distributed, however; and disk copies will be made available to NFBCS members
upon request--drop a note to me at chong99@cris.com or leave me a voice
message at 612-379-3493.
If you are on the Internet and are unable to retrieve the file from NFB-NET
via TELNET, get in touch with me and I will e-mail you a copy.
If you have any questions or concerns about this, please get in touch with me
using the information shown above.
Yours sincerely,
Curtis Chong, President
National Federation of the Blind in Computer Science
