I just bought a norinco SKS 7.62x39 (Chinese model) with a cheap scope on
it. What I want to find is what is the weapons real effective range? The
iron sights show the shortest setting to be 300m but when fired out to
100yds I can't get any type of grouping using military surplus ammo. Anybody
have any luck hunting with this rifle? And are you using the steel bullets
that come in the military rounds?
