actually, yes... a lot of them don't have the first clue about fidonet... then
there's their kids and their kid's kids... yes, i've got a grandchild that is
fast approaching the point of having their own children making me a
great-grandfather...

i'm not but some are assuming they have more know-how than they do... my
youngest remaining child, 30something, has been around me and my computers all
their life... they know the term "fidonet" and that it is something about
exchanging mail but they don't know anything else about it... BBS? isn't the
internet a BBS? yeah, they've actually asked that question...
