Of course there ARE some advantages to diving cold water:
1> The ham sandwhich I keep in my BC pocket doesn't spoil.
2> My Diet Coke stays cold longer.
3> My hair doesn't get all sweated up, making me look silly.
Anyhow, if you find Abyss, let me know, I've been trying to find it 
somewhere. I'd gladly download it off your board. If I find it first
