At one time I had 3 ISDN-2 connections on 3 copper pairs. The one I still have
was for quite some time ISDN-2 combined with ADSL annex B.

For you maybe. For speed I prefer Cable, for freedom of use and
technological knohow I prefer the ADSL provider. For network experiments
it is nice to have both.
