Linnicks is *not* the correct pronunciation.  It is simply the Yank
pronunciation and like a lot of stuff the Yanks get it wrong.

There used to be a Physicist called Linus Paulings from the same region of
the earth as the writer of Linux, and his name was pronounced "line us".

Fucking stupid yanks that think they own the whole world and are always
right.
