I can't understand why you can't see the risks of driving with dodgy

brakes is 1000 fold greater than driving with good brakes. For some

inane reason you are under the impression that since driving is risky

anyway there isn't anything that can be done to reduce such risks, or

why having bad brakes increases those risks.

LOL, I'll guarantee that your car will produce more carbon monoxide

(the stuff that kills ya) and other poisonous gasses just STARTING it

that we would produce with a years supply of cigarettes.

Planes falling on houses are quite a rare occurance...  almost

certainly less than one a year...  If you take the time to look at

accident statistics throughout the country, you'll find that there are

several reported cases of brake failure every day, and these are

generally cases where there are no warnings of impending failure. To

drive a car that you KNOW has dodgy brakes is sheer stupidity.
