G'day Scott, SH> GG> I wondered that myself last time I looked for the jacket. SH> SH> You will find them under or between the SH> seats on all major domestic and SH> international carriers. Bull. In all the flights I've had in the last 2 years, only ONCE was there a jacket under my seat, and that was on the Qantas flight. SH> GG> The other worry is when flying in SH> GG> USA over absolutely NO water at SH> all, SH> GG> they tell you that the seat can be used as floatation device. SH> SH> Psssst! Ever hear of "lakes", and "rivers"? Psssst! I come from the "Great Lakes" state of Michigan. It takes about 5 minutes to fly over Lake Michigan (the one large lake most cross country flights fly over). Lakes Erie and Huron take about 3 minutes. With the exception of Lake Superior, the rest are small enough that it would take an amazing stroke of (un)luck to crash a plane into them. Lake Superior, OTOH takes a fair bit to fly over and yeah, jackets should be required - and if you're flying across it (north/south) you're on an International flight anyway. Cheers, Gaelyne ... Oh, I'm really very sweet.... don't let the M-16 fool you. -=- QWKRR128 V5.0B [R] ---* Origin: Lunar Illuminations / gaelyne{at}hal9000.net.au (3:800/409.64) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/99 620/243 623/630 640/820 711/413 430 934 712/311 407 505 SEEN-BY: 712/506 517 610 623 624 704 713/317 714/906 800/1 2 409 419 422 442 SEEN-BY: 800/446 447 453 455 456 459 462 463 805 810 812 816 822 843 846 @PATH: 800/409 1 712/624 711/934 |
