Remember, too, that God is Mercy -- if God were to make it undeniable that He
exists and is exactly Who He is, and you and I *STILL* fell short of righteous
obedience, then we'd be compounding our 'error' with willful defiance
(certainly a far greater crime against God than simply being "not 100% sure of
what's required and/or by Whom") -- then we'd arouse His anger like it's not
been done before, and He'd certainly destroy the lot of us!

As it stands, there's a standing defense for everyone -- that we didn't know
the domain we stood in and the laws that were pertinent.

The ancient Jewish court, the Sanhedrin(sp?) had a standing rule that every
judge(of the 72-member panel) had to act as defense counsel for those
accused(especially of capital crimes) (this is in addition to the mandatory
defense representative the accused had already!)

So God Himself, by keeping the undeniability of His actuality hidden is acting,
in His capacity as Supreme Judge, as Supreme Defense also!

Jesus taught that the Way was narrow & strait, and hidden/difficult to find --
but those who diligently seek WILL find!  And will find what they need at the
time!

The original poster/question in this thread stated that they didn't have any
personal question about God's reality within their life -- this is the way it
is for every faithful beilever I've ever known,and as it is for me!

I have my moments of doubt, or are they moments of attempted-rebellion, but
overall, I'm not too concerned with whether or not God is real!

God described Himself as, "I Am" -- God didn't add anything to
that -- it ended
with a period("full stop")!

"I Am."

NOT

"I am male."
NOT
"I am a part of everything."
NOT
"I am separate from all Creation."

nor any other continuation of the simple deliberately-non-defining, "I am."

God is the undefinable.

Every definition or continuation of "I am..." is the creation of an idol(a
comprehensible & tangible representation of any aspect of God's awesome
limitlessness)
