   1) Hook up to a JamNNTPd based BBS nearby.

   2) Spend some time reading up on the echoes sounding relevant. And yes, I
know that not all "moderators" are all too eager to name "their" echoes well.
Their loss...

   3) Register on said JamNNTPd based BBS and start asking questions.

   The rest is a walk in the park, far from Catch-22.
