New beta flasher? Is that the -14 version? I seen a notice posted here,
checked Supra's web page out, but there's nothing newer than the 12 version
there. There was some sort of comment about a LAPM error being fixed in the
14 version, I was hoping that was the problem I was experiencing.
MG> Question, did this problem happen when you started download data?
MG> Such as a web page, or an FTP file?
Well, that's hard to pinpoint really. I use a DOS program for reading
newsgroups offline. It calls out and downloads all the new messages from all
the newsgroups which I tell it to. From the time it calls out it's steadily
receiving information, and the modem just hangs after a while.
I use Windows for web browsing, and some FTP'ing, and it would just cut out
when it felt like it :)
WZ> I flashed my modem with the 09 version and now everything seems to

WZ> it's *VERY* unstable with my modem. Anyone else having the same
WZ> problems?
MG> Yep! and I'm EXTREMMLY pissed of at Supra right now.
MG> I wish I could go back to the old flasher, but I don't know where
MG> I can get it.
FTP.SUPRA.COM, they have the older versions there I believe.
... He who laughs last didn't get the joke.
