If you don't have any files of the type sendmail.* then your initial install 
of TCPIP (be it via the IAK or whatever) is bad and corrupted and needs to be 
reinstalled. Do not delete your ultimail or whatever access to quickly as the 
sendmail files will go with them. 
Why do you need them? I receive mail direct to my machine's domain in .BAG 
format using GIGO's SMTPD and post them to my ISPs SMTP server for proper 
delivery and routing through the net. I don't use sendmail anywhere on my 
system though I have had sections customized in the past for when I was using 
it.
