Well, not "for nothing" but "almost for nothing". It was used as a telephone
line; voice, fax and two modem lines for bbs, but it became too expensive for
that, because of almost no bbs callers and voice calls went to mobile.
However, I liked ISDN because it was not just an internet connection, it could
be used for it. My ISP back then allowed a fixed price internet connection from
17:00 to 07:00 work days and 24h on weekends. With both channels. Top speed of
128k! And a static IPv4 address on a dialup line! :)
