Yep, some people forget that there are old sysops and new sysops joining fidonet, it would be difficult and time consuming to setup a BBS without these documents. Of that is why there were so many useful programs made to help do this. An Echolist keeper should only be an administrative role, information in document out. But your right that some people see power in any role. Every now again some people need to reminded that this is only a hobby to enjoyed but for some being annoying is their real hobby.
