I've always held the opinion that everyone is disadvantaged/disabled in
some way ... after all, pobody's nerfect. If we can't laugh at
ourselves and our own weaknesses then we really are a sad lot.


I've a friend that's president of a computer user group and active in
the theatre - he just recently got a major part in a city play.  He
also happened to be born with no forearms.  He doesn't hang out in
disability echos (or even politically correctly labled echos) because
he says he has better things to do with his time.  He also doesn't
define himself or his life by whether he's black, white, or "different"
from the norm.  He defines himself by what he's acheived and is
acheiving.

He also has a great, if not downright wicked sense of humour. Where did
you leave yours?
