I suspect the USA is content now to let nature take its course;
Fidel will die of old age, & not CIA dirty tricks, & there will
be a succession struggle which will probably embrace US "values".

The Flintstones are showing a reluctance to roll over & play dead
at the feet of the invaders, so much so that the USA is calling on
the UN & "old Europe" to do its duty & help rebuild Iraq. France
& Germany can scarcely conceal their delight at being shown to
have been right to not rush in to Iraq.

The Vietnamese appear to disagree, and as victors, they refer
to it as the American War, and exhibit the apparatus that endeared
the USA & its proxies to the population, like the mobile guillotines
that were trundled around to assist with "pacifying" the locals.

Speaking of wars that America has never lost, how's the "War on Drugs"
going? And the "War on Terror"? It seems to me that opium production
has hit top form in Afghanistan following the [partial] removal of
the Taliban and the resurgence of the warlords.
