Wanda, knowing how the phone companies work, I can tell you that it is 
definitely a long distance call from Memphis, Tennessee to Kansas City, 
Missouri.  Something about the crossing of state lines that makes it have
to be that way (except in the case of cities that are on the border of 
states).
I don't believe that Kansas City and Memphis would apply in this case.
