Hello again Barbara, it seems your hands are always full. I would like it if
you could fax me a price list for your babies. I confess that its mostly just
to learn what they go for. I know what green cheeks, various conures, grays,
blue golds, and scarlets go for down here in bad rep city Miami. I would like
to compare. Down here various breeders sell at 3 weeks of age out
of the nest. They usually sell to pet shops, which there are a lot of them
here. Too many... actually. Green cheeks sell at 3 weeks for $50. Nandays for
$60. Peach fronts for $60 to $75. Suns go for $150 - $175 (unsexed). Congo
garys as low as $400. Blue & Goolds as low as $450. And Scarlets at around
$800. Well, this is what I've seen. Ohh, I almost forgot, love birds
and tiels from $20 to $30 if they are common, even lutinos. These are prices
that I have seen. It does not mean that all breeders sell at these prices.
Some actually want way too much. Once a lady said $2000 for a proven pair of
sun conures. She said " With two clutches you get your money back"...yea
right. Well any feedback will help my understanding of different prices in
different places. Anyone is welcome to fax me a list with species, wholesale,
and retail prices at 305-362-1052. This is my private fax line to
wich no one has access. One question Barbara, Do you keep your Quakers in a
flight or in pairs. If in a flight? How big and how many pairs ?
By the way...Any + or - comments on the above will be welcomed.
