Hakkinen cannot wait for Suzuka

(27-Sep-98) - Mika Hakkinen admitted after his Luxembourg Grand Prix
victory that he could not wait for the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka.

The Finn, who now lies four points clear of rival Michael Schumacher in the
title chase, believes the championship showdown will be a great event.

"This was a great result today and it makes the situation different to
what it was a couple of hours ago," he said immediately after the win.

"Winning this Grand Prix gives us an advantage for the championship
and it just gives more motivation for the team to prepare the car better
for the next Grand Prix."

He added: "We have testing coming up and I am looking forward to going
there. It is going to be great and really interesting to go there. Whatever
happens everyone has done a great achievement and it will be a great fight.
I am looking forward certainly."
