HUH????  Betas are not beginner fish?  Please enlighten me here...  I
have had betas off and on since I was a kid and my son who is 6 has had
one for a couple of years now.  I haven't found a way to kill these
fish.  All I have ever experienced and read is that they are hardy fish
but males can't be kept together as they will fight eachother till one
or both are dead.
