The node & BBS are 24/7 IP; the phone number is for ZMH only (and I
-never- expect any calls). I'm surprised your mailer couldn't extract my
IP details and send direct, as mine does for yours (if I set the DIR &
CM flags on netmails).

Bugger. That's gonna get terribly mundane and turn into a real chore, real soon.

Been there. Last night. :) It didn't really help but I was impressed
with the author's page.

If you can export newsgroup postings to an email address then I can offer
you a gateway program that sucks in emails direct to an echo, _if_ echoes
are treated differently from newsgroups in Syncronet.

The gateway is a freebie, and, can be set for one-way transfers, i.e. a
read-only echo as far as the newsgoup is concerned. The source is free. I
had to ask one of the fellers in the zone to do a compile for me, so I can
offer a copy of that, or, you could compile your own.

It's called TransNet and can be got from:

  http://www.resl.com.ar/transnet/

It was there the last time I looked... 6 months ago. Hope it helps.

Cheers,
Paul.
