I've watched the film and still have no idea too.
But it's really worth watching, at least twice.

I liked it a lot. Then, if you enjoyed it twice as much as I did, I guess
you should also watch (if not yet) "Identity", "Secret
Window" and "Memento", cause basically they all share the
same "plane".
