Looks like it's hard to win. Is there some kind of punishment at
3D Realms for giving out an approximate release date, like being forced to
play one of Capstone's Build-engine games?
Anyhow, I'll ignore that question, and ask a question I don't think I got
an answer to: in the DNF issue of PC Gamer, I noticed a lot of the street
lights had a glow to them. Is that an example of the luminosity effect we
saw in GLQuake (on rocket trails)? Seems like it. Also, I noticed that you
people are faking a reflection effect in a casino-style level, presumably by
making a flat brush translucent and copying the room above in the area below
it. If this is any indication of how much effort you're putting into DNF,
then I'm looking forward to the full game (in mid-1998 - admit it, admit
!).
