Hmmm......you might request the echo(s) but that is no gaurentee that you 
will receive them even if you are set up as a point system.  If the system 
you are pointing off has to pay long distance charges to pick up it's mail 
then I would imagine the sysop of said system would have something to say 
about it!   Really though, setting up as a point system is just a 
conveinient way for some people to grab their mail from an existing BBS 
system without actually having to logon to the BBS system itself and mucking 
around with mail doors etc............just because a person is pointing off a 
FidoNet system (or any other net AFAIK for that matter) it doesn't 
automatically follow that they are eligable to start pulling in any Fidonet 
echos other than what thier feed provides.
