I have an altered system, where the main menu *IS* a message menu. It will 
show the area tag (ie: this is t.2, [for tech subgroup, area 2]) and the 
descriptor. I also have a read menu branch, much like RemoteAccess, with 
read/reply commands following every message. Included in the two-line menu 
set at the end of each message is the name and description of the area, with 
commands to move back/forward in teh message list.

If they're short, sure thing. Some I have seen are _not_ short, however.
