Hello All!
Response to the 1997 Joint Fido Crafting Echos Christmas Ornament Exchange
has been rather "light" to date.  Because of the light turnout, I've
decided that "anything goes".  That means as long as your ornament is HAND
MADE by YOU, it will qualify as GENERAL CRAFTING.
We don't have enough sign ups in any one division to divide everything up
by division this year.  So I took the names of the ladies who have signed
up, and threw them into the hat one time for each group they signed up
for.  Then I started drawing out names one by one.
You need to remember that if you want a "TAX DEDUCTION" for the donation
for the Children's Tree at MaryBridge Children's Hospital you need to get
those ornaments to me PRONTO!!! < The Cut off Date for Tax Deductable
Status is coming VERY SOON! (OCT 15th is the ABSOLUTE LAST DAY I can get
tax deduction forms to the Hospital)
Otherwise, you have a few days extra to get those ornaments to me.  As
long as we have them in time to decorate, you'll have the satisfaction of
knowing you helped a very, very ill child! <  We must have that tree
ready to decorate no later than November 25th.  That means your ornaments
MUST be to me, so I can get them to LTC Margaret Richardson, by that date.
We will continue to take sign-ups for the remainder of the sign-up period
OCTOBER 5, 1997 and I will form new groups as we go if necessary.  If you
haven't signed up you need to let me know!!!  Late sign-ups "may" be
allowed, but will all go to the new groups formed.
We have had enough ladies to form SEVEN groups of THREE people.  Those are
really SMALL groups, but it will make things so we can all manage our
obligations.  Besides that I only had 21 "entries" to place in the hat to
work with tonight!  Remember you are responsible to have your ornaments into 
mail by November 15th so your exchange "partners" have them in their hands no 
later than December 1st.  May we all enjoy this Holiday Season!
