Thanks for the summary. (Though I knew this before.)

What find amazing and troubling about beliefs/religions -- independent of
association with a church -- is the ABSOLUTELY ARBITRARY "this is to
be believed, and this is not".

The Jews vs. Catholics vs. Protestants vs. Mormons.

The decision of what "prophet", book or "miracle" to
believe is no more than a roll of the dice....

(Side Note: I live in Palm Springs -- which will hopefully end up more like
Reno than Vegas....)
