Hi,

WinXP + SP2

Ok, so what i did ?:
I have a 15 episodes of Simpsons (30+Gigs) which needed to be copied to a
network drive.
I opened Explorer (with /e,/root, options cauze of spliting desktop
explorer from file manager rxplorer - 2 *.exe files - so I cannot crash
explorer so easily).
Kewl, so i Cut the first season and paste to a network drive - moving
procedure started. Ok, so i chopped another season and pasted on the same
location on the network drive - Super, everything worked. So i chopped
another and another, and Then! (hah!) - i wanted to chop 5th season when
explorer crashed. I said *wh00py!*. Desktop was alright! Moving procedures
closed too!
And then ...
I opened explorer (with same options like every time, like every time Im
opening it) and the Left pane - folders view - was grayed and empty. Kewl,
View > Explorer bar > Folders == Search opened ?! Ok, i closed
everything, tryed again == notting. Played a little with Views and found
that Favorites gives Search window ?! Closed everything again, started
again and no View is coresponding to its name ?! If You are thinking on the
Spy, Virus, whatever == Stop right now. Ok, then i found that it could be
problem with path to explorer bands in registry:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{EFA24E61-B078-11d0-89E4-00C04FC9E26E}].

So, i cheked the Path, was: %SystemRoot%\System32\shdocvw.dll == no
problem, still i deleted and replaced with new == the same. I closed
everything, tryed, notting, rebooted == notting.
*hum?!*
Ok, then I found the registry file (someone created/exported) and cheked the values:

Ok, there are few differencies like Icon and like {at}="Explorer Band" vs.
{at}="Favorites Band" Which I also tryed to change manually and notting worked
also!
Ok, then i imported His/Its registry (the one above) and everything
magicaly started to work correctly.

Now my question is (hell!):
- is there a need for information (in this case relevant info in
\InProcServer32) (which is in registry shown as ascii == text) to be
imported in HEX ? If Not/Yes/Whatever, why i had problems with manually
editing the PATH == not woked but was correct ? P.S. I also add DefaultIcon
subkey, etc again manually and it woked alright.

Anything to do with Native/Win32 API data inputin == Registry == Win32 API
based aplication ?

Ill be glad to give more Info if someone is interested. I "love"
registry, but sometimes im frigtened! :)))

Ok, It is working now, so Im in the good move.
