Not easy to move it all to a Win2K system.
I've subsequently moved both drives to one of the audio systems directly,
on it's USB ports, and transfers go just as fast both ways....go figure.
I've got to look deeper at the ASUSTeK MB and see what's going on, and how
the various USB hubs are configured. I'll have to look and see if all the
hubs are USB2's.
Down converting the machine I was using as a pseudo server (XP Pro with the
2 drives shared so the 2 audio editing systems can both access over the
lan), would require a format/re-install. I've got a bunch of other stuff
on that system at the same time, so it's not a real problem.
I'm going to move them back later in the week when I get some time, got to
get back to the work at hand now.
