Hi there!
I'am thinking about writing a very simpel OS for a project in school. What I
wonder is, what's needed?
The idea is that a boot-disk will load the whole OS into memory. Then you can
make some simple tasks.
1, Copy
2, List files on the disk
3, Format another disk
4, Run a simple program.
Should I use the BIOS to do these things? I'am satisfied if the OS just
handels 1.44 MB floppy-disks. Is these goal possible to achive, or should I
just hand in a paper on the subject. I would really appriciate some help in
this matter. A URL or something wolud be nice to.
Yours Peter Svahn.
