Howdy Folks,
I'm setting up my first network, and I've run into a little snag.
    I'm running Caldera OpenDos on two machines, a 486DX 33 and a Compaq
    III 286 luggable.  Each has a compex Freedomline ether net card,
    they are connected via a BNC cable. Each system seems content that
    all is set up correctly, no memory conflicts, the cards are
    recognized.  Each system is set up to share its resources, SHARE is
    running, and I believe the workgroup is the same on each machine.
    (both called SS, don't know if this is in fact the same, having
    originated it twice, once on each machine)   The machines are named,
    directories to be shared have been set on each machine. NET Diags
    however will only report the one local machine.
I haven't checked out the physical condition of the cable and
terminating resistors yet.
Am I missing something here?
