Hi! Robert, On Sat, 27 May 06, you wrote to me: PQ>>Option #3: I could send you my copy of the source. Can you do PQ>> C++ and compile it? RESJ> not yet Okay. I could still send you a copy of the TransNet distro archive and a copy of the compiled .Exe... more about that below... PQ>>Option #4: you could send them via my gateway. RESJ> I don't have outbound internet e-mail from my bbs (port 25 block at RESJ> the isp thanks to the spammers) Bugger. So, even if you wanted you cannot export newsgroup posts? Even your newsgroups are read-only, in so far as you're not able to send them to an outside mail server? Okay. In that case I'd be tempted to use an internal mail server. Basically because I already use one. Mine works inside our firewall and cannot be reached from the internet; it calls out as required, and our mail clients poll it. What I would do is have the newsgroup messages exported to an email address valid on my server, and tell TransNet to poll the server to get them and import them into this echo. It's a plan. But for the moment I think we're in a situation as 'Jake' described to the Penguin in the Blues Brothers movie, "looks like you're up shit creek". ;-) Cheers, Paul. --- Radius 4.010/21.01.2005(Final)* Origin: Hey!
