Two things come to mind. First check your handshaking. This should be
set to Hardware rather than Software XON/XOFF. The other thing to do
would be to disable the use of ZedZap if you haven't already done so.
If you can send me the exact model of modem you have I will see if I
can get you a good init string for it. For now try AT&F, AT&c1&d2, then
at&w. After you have done this use ATZ as your init in Terminate.
