Hi!
CT> You must have Bravo! back there. The Last Emperor was shown uncut
CT> recently and that was just short of 3 hours I think.
IH> There is a TV-Version that is longer though, isn't there?
IH> More like nearly four hours?
CT>There might have been but I missed it on network TV and I
CT>hate watching anything with commercials if it can be avoided.
CT>I do like Bravo! since they don't edit and they are free
CT>of commercials during the movie.
MH> BRAVO does edit some of their films. I can't name names right at the
MH> moment, but they have used edited editions of movies.
That is possible but our Bravo! cable channel may not be the same as
yours. If that is the case, then they may have a different policy
regarding the editing of movies.
They have a segment called Bravo! News which comes out of Toronto
so that might be some indication of a different administration.
We have another specialty cable channel Showcase that has commercials
but states that their movies are uncut as well.
If I haven't mentioned it previously,
I would like to thank you for your patience
in the previous debate and I am advising
all concerned that it has run its course.
cya!
