    I know this is not on topic in this echo, but why would a 16.8K modem 
sale 
so high these days, when you can buy a 33.6K for as little as $35 brand new. 
Not to mention that, I might be wrong, that 16.8K was the speed of HST class 
modems. Inform me on this, as I'm interested in knowing.
