Howdy...
SE>Wait until you teach him about long distance phone calls! :)
SE>
I've been trying for YEARS to teach him about long distance . I have
a feeling Bell Telephone will be sending me a thank-you note while Mike
is at school .
SE>Thanks Al. Actually it's a package called SuperBBS which was
SE>very popular a few years ago. I've found that it still suits
SE>my needs very nicely.
I've heard of SuperBBS before, but to my knowledge I had never seen it
before. It does a nice job for you. I'm running PowerBBS (4 node
version). It's very graphical & plays .Wav files, so it is a little slow
in my opinion. I used to run PCBoard & OS/2. It was much faster.
SE>No kidding! The water temps in Ft. Lauderdale are in the low
SE>70's and creeping their way upward. Us locals generally wait
SE>a few more weeks before jumping into the pool. :)
The last time Mike & I dove was last October. The water was already down
to 66 degrees. The real drawback is getting back onto the boat &
changing clothes. Now THAT can be an experience .
SE>There are lots of terrific spots to dive in this area, so
SE>don't run yourself ragged driving from one area to the next.
SE>Just set a leisurely schedule and work your way down the coast.
As of now we plan to leave home early enough to visit Mike at Pro Dive
on our way down. Then we'll probably go to Key Largo for about 4 days.
On the way home we once again stop at Pro Dive, probably staying
overnight. Thanks for the advice.
Regards,
AL & Mike
