Thanks. I think about these things a lot, because I have a feeling that I'd
like working as a development manager or some such, and am trying to steer
that way as hard as I can.

I know that stuff. Whenever I want to prove a point of just how bad can
"cool" software get, I use those apps as a demonstration
. Wee bit nasty, perhaps, but I also kind of admire the
consistency - his software has been like that for a looooong time, and I
bet a million people have complained but the dude just wants to do it like
that and so he does.
