RL> Are there any decent message editors that can run with Maximus 3.01 ?
For the BBS user, the pickings are kind of slim. I run IceEdit over here,
but this program is no longer being developed.
RL> I've already tried MSGED, and I don't really like it. I just need one
RL> that can read and write to Fido (*.MSG) and Squish bases.
There is a version of MSGED that can handle Squish and MSG bases. MSQ320.ZIP
is available here. This file contains DOS and OS/2 executables, as well as
"C" source code. It's not bad, but it doesn't handle AKA matching for people
who are in more than one net. It _is_ free. I prefer to use TimEd even
though Timed isn't free.
TIM110.ZIP (DOS)
TIM110P.ZIP (OS/2)
