IT would ge fun to offer someone chocolate covered crickets. See if
they like them. If so would you tell them what they're eating? :)

Reminds me of that joke about the old lady and the peanuts. There's
more than one version of this joke btw. My favorite version was the one
where the new young priest is visiting one of the elderly parishioners.
He's nibbling away on the peanuts she had put out in the bowl. I
forget the conversation they had but she ended up telling him  it was
fine if he had as much as he wanted- she couldn't eat them due to her
teeth. she'd just suck off the chocolate.

 I had alligator nuggets and to be honest not enough of a sample to
make a sure fire analogy but close as I got was clams but not rubbery.
I was so excited to be eating something so exotic though my memory
might not be quite reliable (was about four years ago too.)

I'm told you can get them in the frozen food sections in some stores.
I haven't seen 'em yet.
