GP> GP>I hope you understand that I'm making no attempt to be rude, but just

GP> GP>I'm tired of pretending.
GP> EP> For someone who pretends to tell it like it is, you sure
GP> EP> mealymouth your slurs.
GP>Aw, loosen-up, Earnie. You ever spent time in Texas?
Yep, probably spent at least a couple of years there, divided up
into six weeks to a year at a time. I found Texans to be polite,
a little reserved and they generally meant exactly what they
said. I try to be the same. EP

GP> EP> If you ever learn to discuss matters
GP> EP> in a civilized tone, please feel free to reply.
GP>Well what does that mean, that I have to compromise by voting anti-gun &
GP>quit calling Dole an anti-gunner? Is that civilized?
No, I'd rather you just say what you mean, in a civilized
manner. As John Wesley said, "profanity is the curse of a poor
vocabulary". Calling people names and casting dispersions on
their motives doesn't add to the strength of your argument. I
don't mind the discussions, and I don't want you to shut up. I
just prefer to discuss things in a more gentlemanly manner.
