Yes, it would be best to have access to the nodelist.

In all the time I've been in fsxNet I have never seen a DIFF, I don't think
they produce one.

You could ask Paul Hayton the ZC of fsxNet if that is a possibility or not. I
suspect he uses makenl to produce the nodelist and if so it wouldn't be hard
for him to produce a DIFF also, but you would need to talk to him about that.
