It's a common old wives tale. IE components are not preloaded. IE =
actually loads more DLLs than firefox. If firefox is slow it is because =
it is doing something slow or it's just doing alot.

I found Firefox's pulldowns slowish on a slow machine. They're =

somethingorother. Those have speeded up a lot in the preview-of-1.0 =
vs. the
0.9 versions - they must have said byebye to a lot of debug code.
