To you! To you, with your view of scripture, it sounds as if "what
these people are saying... is, that the Almighty and Living God doesn't
know what he is talking about."

You do not seem to recognize the fact that not all Christians have the
same view of the scripture that you have.  What they are really saying
is "When the Bible was written we didn't have the understanding that we
do today".

I suggest that if you cannot deal with what they say, you should not be
dishonest and accuse them of saying something they did not say.
Something that is completely stupid. Is that fun?  Is it fun to accuse
people of saying something stupid, which they did not say? In your
mind, is it "Wrighteous" to do things like that?

I can truthfully say, "When the Bible was written I didn't have the
understanding that I do today".
