    This is of interest. I applied the fixpack on a new install using fast 
kick and these files didn't install. I found them right where you said and 
they unpacked and work just fine. 
PF> immediate Desktop changes not being saved.  I believe the tools are meant 
PF> for the Workspace on Demand or Network Computer (NC) implementation of 
OS/2
PF> (my guess).  Have fun..
    Do you happen to have remote support installed. They could be tools for 
dial in service to be able to reboot after a remote "fix".
