Thanks for that info. If DLLs actually constitute the bulk of IE's helper
load, and you're not just playing semantics with us, Microsoft is using
some good filesystem optimizations in its load process.  IE's load time is
not just dramatically shorter, it's nearly an order of magnitude shorter
(haven't measured it).
