CO´got the thing back into reasonable shape she came to pick it up. I asked
he
´"where was the Mister killed, the Pacific?" She said "Oh, no young'un.
e
´weren't fighting in the Pacific then. He was killed during World War
ne."
´That gun had been loaded and cocked for nearly 50 years!
Thats kind of like what happened to me..or around me.. I was at the
local police acadamey to qualify for a police commission (at that time
we didn't have a carry law) and a old court officer came in to have his
renewed. The instructor asked to inspect is weapon. The cylinder and
bore were covered in this green gunk. They had to drive the ammo out
with a punch. To think that guy may have HAD to use his weapon scared
the heck out of me.. And they PASSED the idiot.
