So there has always been a moral law.  Job was under law, he just
wasn't under the Law.  Man was under "law" from the first "You shall
not eat of the tree of good and evil" because man is always being
tested in this life time (to one he gave five talents, to another two
and to another one) to determine his place in eternity.
